Umphrey’s Celebrates 25th Annierversary in Port Chester
Umphrey’s celebrated their 25th anniversary in New York state over the weekend. The run began with a show at the Brooklyn Bowl in the city, before traveling northwards to Port Chester for two nights at the esteemed Capitol Theater. The sets contained a host of surprises including a cover of Billy Cobham’s “Red Baron” which had been sitting on the shelf for 18 years. Other highlights included Small Strides, Liquid, and the second appearance of Unevoled. Umphrey’s winter tour marches onward to the Midwest this weekend with appearance in Fort Wayne, Grand Rapids, Detroit and Cleveland.

Umphrey’s will return to the 4848 Festival This Year
Umphrey’s has announced that they will once again play the 4848 Festival this year. The fest takes place at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia. The lineup also includes Greensky Bluegrass, moe., Cory Wong, Doom Flamingo, Karl Denson and much more. Umphrey’s has played the festival one other time back in 2019. That appearance was an epic one setter that saw Billy Strings, Anders Beck and Paul Hoffman join for Nothing too Fancy. Tickets for the 2023 festival are on sale now.
